We were an easy tuk-tuk ride to downtown, and we loved being a little bit further out where it was very, very quiet. It was also nice having air conditioning for a change. Thomas himself is an amazing host, kind and conscientious.
He went out of his way to help us with tickets and activities in and around the city. We were also very grateful for his laundry service. We would definitely stay with Thomas if we return to Kampong Cham. We were given a very warm welcome by Tom and his family and made to feel part of the community for our short stay. Tom is a kind and attentive host. I would thoroughly recommend Tom's place for an authentic Cambodian stay. Ung is a gracious and generous host tending to any need, creating a authentic local experience.
I met great people and the atmosphere is tranquil and harmonious with great food and super clean environment! Met some great people and had to come back after 10 days! Ung arranged transportation and offers a great service as a friend, calming all the travel worries and anxiety one might happen upon.
Merci beaucoup! The house is out of town 4km north in a small village right by the river. The small market in the morning was a highlight. Thomas was very friendly, we rented a motorbike and organized our ongoing bus for us. The room is simple- but great for the price- , very clean! Just the sheet seemed to be unchangable. Also the light in the hallway was turned on a couple of times at night and we had a lousy sleep.
