Definitely a place filled with very nice ladies, some of them are top notch. Unfortunately some of the waitresses, nikole was her name if I am not mistaken, are very rude and hit you, literally, in order to intimidate you so to order more drinks. To completely ruin the place contributes the security staff, that usually punch first and ask for clarification later.
It is a nice place to go with a bunch of friends ready to rumble, else wise I would strongly advise against it. Nice area of the city and an essential part of any trip to Prague. There are plenty of shops, cafes and resturants in the area. When we were there, a food market was on, nice street food but a bit expensive. Underground stop at the top of the square and you are into the main centre at the bottom so very accessible.
Nice place. Good place to see. Clean and nice. Read the history behind to understand the importance of this place. This was a 10 minute walk from my Hotel in Old town. It is certainly one of the landmarks. Nice place to crowd watch. As soon as sun sets, peddlers of all types of goods and services start appearing. Not as interesting or friendly as the rest of the city. A definite tourist trap. I would say Wenceslas square is the heart of Prague. It's close to almost everything guy can think of.
The street is the shopping street of Prague. You'll find most shopping stores not the high end stores though , hotels, casinos, bars, pubs, restaurants Italian, American, Indian, Mexican, Chinese , Thai massage, strip clubs, souvenir shops.
I used to love hang out in this neighborhood. Only thing I disliked was everything mostly was closed after Most restaurants and pubs were closed at 11 or Only casinos open 24 hours! This square couldn't be less One could name it a broad boulevard.
