The spa at Alisei was amazing, I was treated with so much loving care! It was the best massage experience I've ever had. And the body scrub left my skin so soft. Plus, the restaurant has really good food there. Highly recommend a visit! Great hotel right by the beach. Wifi is very fast as well. The pool is fantastic. Staff is helpful and friendly. I always look forward to coming to Las Terrenas.
Instagram: tommiesox. We spent a week here and loved every minute. The staff is wonderful, the breakfasts are varied and satisfying, and the suites are very comfortable. The only complaint is the road, which is close and well-traveled by diesel-fueled motorbikes. If you're sensitive to noise and fumes, this might be a concern. It was the only thing I didn't like. The rest was excellent! Friendly staff. Very low key. Seems a good place to visit with a larger group.
Beach very close by. Restaurant was good but ask for the lunch menu at lunch time! Room air conditioner was not the best. Room decor was cute and unique. Samana is one of the most beautiful places in the Dominican Republic. Las Terrenas located in Samana is what makes this place special about other tourist locations. Unlike all inclusive resorts where that's all you experience, Las Terrenas offers villas on the beach.
You can rent 4 wheelers go out, eat or shop in the town mingle with locals and get the real experience of being in this beautiful country, with it's great food, fun and happy people always ready to serve you. Alise offers breakfast in it's restaurant Baraonda Freddy the waiter is awesome! Lunch and dinner are your responsibility, but who cares when you go out on these amazing beaches and have little restaurants that serve you fried fish and the coldest Presidente beers, nothing else makes you happier.
My sister got married here, and it was perfect! Both her and her husband are the beach bum type. They couldn't have picked a better place.
