OK it does not fully match up to a reputable Las Vegas show nevertheless 'Show Me' was entertaining and on this particular evening visited mostly by German tourists. I had gargantuan expectations for "Show Me" at the Friedrichstadt Palast. With its flashy advertisement plastered on every one of Berlin's ubahns, sbahns and strasses, and its tickets well worth over 30 Euros, I thought this was going to be some sort of groundbreaking, breathtaking, life-changing theatre experience.
I've done a lot of musicals in New York and thought this was going to be way better than that considering its the biggest show in all of Europe. But what I found instead were below average acrobats, cheesy singers and a crowd that had come straight from the nursing home for a night out.
