Adrian Garcia , Digital Journalist. The suspect, identified as His Majesty Victor Saint Adams, was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution. Deputies discovered the brutal reality of ongoing human trafficking not only in San Antonio, but outside city limits.
Salazar said the teen girl's firsthand accounts have guided authorities to other victims, some of whom are minors, of human trafficking and to other cities. The MGM Cabaret has since shut down and another strip club, formerly known as Blush Show Club and Restaurant, lost its liquor license after it allowed the girl to work as an exotic dancer, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales said the charge that Adams faces is a result of his engagement in the enterprise of prostitution. As he was being escorted to a patrol unit by deputies, Adams told reporters he was "shocked" and that the accusations are "news" to him. I don't know what's going on," Adams claimed. While the other strip clubs that Adams owns have not yet been shut down, Salazar said deputies are monitoring them.
